Castlewellan Holiday Week 2009
Castlewellan Holiday Week in Castlewellan, Co Down, Northern Ireland is the time for the Methodist family in Ireland to come together for Bible teaching/prayer/Reflection and a time to meet with God in a Holiday setting as well as lots of socialising with over 700 attending from all parts of Ireland.
The main speakers this year, the 25th anniversary, were Jeff Lucas who is part of the team at Spring Harvest. Jeff has written 14 books. He is based in Loveland, Colorado and holds a teaching post at Timberline Church, Fort Collins. He is staying in Castlewellan Castle with his wife Kay.
The Youth speaker is Patrick Regan who is accompanied by his wife Diane and children Keziah, Daniel and Abigail. He is a member of XLP - a Christian Charity that has an input in 30 Schools across London.
The music this 25th, year was provided by Soul Purpose led by Ross Harte in the main tent, and the Youth Band led by Andy Gibson down on the campsite.
A very enjoyable week of teaching and fellowship was enjoyed by all.
