This year has been significant in the arena of “Sound & Vision” and its contribution to our Worship activities.
We make sure the sound is heard crystal clear in all parts of the sanctuary and is recorded and forwarded to Mr Hogg for distribution to members of the congregation unable to attend Church by reason of infirmity or illness. The full service is also available on the website.
We have been able to install our projector on the back wall of the Church which has proved effective in freeing up the floor area in front of the Communion Rail and provides more space for other activities. The team can now work from the front of the computer rather than the back.
I wish to thank Malcolm Smith for his help in some of our productions and the facilities he has put at our disposal at Tower Street College. Chris Nixon and I had a most enjoyable time on an afternoon visit to Belfast City Beat and were shown round the studio by the M.D. of the station.
I also wish to thank the Rev. Heather Bell for her encouragement in all our activities and her enthusiasm for all things technical.
Jim Taylor (Happy technical buff).
