Thursday Afternoon Fellowship Group.
Would you like somehere to go to meet other people, hear interesting visiting speakers and have a nice afternoon tea?
Why not come along to Knockbreda Methodist - to our Thursday Friendship Group?
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays in the month at 2 pm and have an interesting and varied programme for the year, including a Victorian Christmas Tea and Spring outing.
The Friendship Group is particularly successful both in its programme content and leadership but especially in its membership. An average of 40 attend - both Knockbreda Church members and visitors from St. Bernadette’s and the local community. It is significant that the leadership of these groups consisted of people who took on these key roles without being in current leadership roles.
Jack has provided some photographs of the Thursday Afternoon Fellowship Group meeting. Heather was our speaker. Everyone was impressed by her sense of humour when she told us of her experience and calling into the Ministry and also by her cake making skills as a Master Baker.
