The Church Council currently comprises of 13 members with the recent and welcome additions of some of the less senior members in the form of Rebecca and Sarah Small, and Stephanie McDaniel. Meetings are held regularly every 3 months with additional meetings called when specific matters of importance require extra discussion.
We are grateful for the time and commitment each member gives to the meetings, and also to the organizing and overseeing of work around and within the church following the decisions made.
The improvement to the grounds following the installation of the fence, for example, is much appreciated. Items recently on the agenda included the tarmacing of the car park, the installation of a rail at the front door, investigating a more economical heating system, and the future staffing needs of Knockbreda as well as the usual running of the buildings etc.
The names of the members are on the Notice Board so that you know who we are if you have any concerns or comments, however it would be appreciated if these could be put in writing – the worst pen & paper is better than the best memory! Alternatively you can send us an email click here
